Infinito menos was created in the 2nd semester of 2012 by Henrique Iwao, Mário Del Nunzio e Matthias Koole as a consequence of the three members' work. Iwao and Del Nunzio have an active duo since 2007; Del Nunzio and Koole played several times together in duo and trio (with Stefan Prins); and last but not least Iwao and Koole played their first duo in 2012. As a trio they recorded a part of the cd ‘Trios & Quartetos” by the duo Henrique Iwao - Mário Del Nunzio.

The three musicians maintain an activity which pervades contemporary music and free improvisation as well as an interest for music which has a contact with other artistic disciplines - dance, installation, video.

This way, the trio appears as a platform for experimentation with its particular instrumentation with the goal of stimulating frequent contact between composers and interpreters in order to develop specific and unique musical situations.
